Dr. Daniel T. Engelman joined Cardiac Surgical Associates of Western Mass. in 1999 after completing his training at Harvard Medical School, Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. He is the son of Dr. Richard Engelman, who first brought cardiac surgery to Western Massachusetts in 1979. He holds certifications with the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery and is a fellow of the American Board of Surgery. He is a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgery, Massachusetts Medical Society and the Hampden District Medical Society. Dr. Engelman has an interest in medical device engineering and technology.
